It is in front of a bus stop. We loved food and staff here.

Great hotel, large rooms, TV and lots of space at a very reasonable price! This was the second time we visited your hotel and we will definitely come again in the future!

Central location; neat, clean room with air conditioning.
High traffic can be a nuissance in the evenings.

I was at this hotel from 26 to 30 August, 2012. On the day of my arrival, I met a very very bad receptionist. She was really terrible with an angry face, and everything she did is wrong (typed my name wrong, wrong nationality, sold a bullshit map, etc.). However, other receptionists are really nice, especially the old man. The internet there is super! Location is very good (around 10 min by walk to the city center and 2 min to the subway station). Breakfast is acceptable.

Great location, room very clean, good a/c, good price, had elevator, good lighting in bathroom.
Hotel personnel not helpful or friendly. No shower curtain on the tub/shower. No electrical outlet in bathroom (for hair dryer). No mirror in room (for drying hair).

Great old place in Bucharest, loved the room. Fantastic value for the price, and within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and bars. Loved it.

Perfect location, right in the city centre, baragin price, fair breakfast, large, cosy and clean rooms.
Noise late in the night, very disturbing, from the Legere bar which is located at the ground floor.

* este in centru si poti sa ajungi rapid acolo unde-ti doresti * cald in camera

This is the perfect place to stay in Bucharest if you want to be in a real old-fashioned characteristic Romanian hotel. They serve breakfast also the way all hotels did in the region 30 years ago. If you're a fan of globalization and you love to complain about details and you can't stand any discomfort, avoid this place. If you love experience something different that is totally in line with the city in which you are, book this place before it's gone.
Other guests complaining about the fact that the hotel had its own character and wasn't changed into a boring comfortable modern hotel.

All in all very good hotel with good location. 10 minutes walk from Piata Unirii and Lipscani. It is quite cheap, furniture is little bit older but it has it's charm. Very good breakfast
Accept recepcionst no one speaks English, narrow beds and quite loud traffic in front of hotel

Good location and cheap. Elegant exterior
Old run down place - my room smelt bad - old shabby decor - dirty light switches - adverts for local brothel left in lobby. It's a pity. As with several bits of Bucharest I felt with a bit of investment some marvellous transformations could be achieved.
